« back MATERNAL/CHILD University Medical Center of El Paso's comprehensive Maternal/Child Services encompasses Newborn, Continuing Care, Intermediate Care, Intensive Care, Pediatrics, Family Planning, Labor and Delivery, Ante/Post-Partum and Orthopedic Nursing. Our dedicated Medical Staff includes board-certified Fetal-Maternal Medicine Specialists, a Gyn-Endocrinologist, a Gyn-Oncologist, a Fertility/Infertility Specialist, Obstetricians and Certified Nurse Midwives. We deliver approximately 5,000 babies a year ranking us among the top 30 hospitals nationwide for number of deliveries and our infant mortality rate is far below the national average. University Medical Center of El Paso's Women's Health Center is the largest in the Southwest. Its patient educators visit schools, businesses, and career centers and provide educational tools to thousands of EI Paso residents. |
